Poechos Dam, Peru

 

Chira-Piura irrigation and land reclamation system is located in coastal, arid part of northwest Peru, approximately 1,000 km far from Lima. The Poechos dam represents the most important structure of the Chira-Piura Special Project. It is executed within the Phase I of this project.
