Short description: Section Pericos – San Ignacio (including the city of San Ignacio bypass) is located on the road Chamaya-Jaen-SanIgnacio-Rio Canchis, which represents the connection between the north of Peru and Equador. It is located in the region of Cajamarca, at the altitude ranging from 700m to 1200m. The executed works include reconstruction and rehabilitation of the road section, 54.5km long, with two traffic lanes, execution of new superstructure of the carriageway, together with the asphalt-concrete wearing course, drainage and other works.
