Strazevica tunnel represents an integral part of the highway Corridor 10, located on Belgrade bypass, section Dobanovci – Bubanj Potok. There are two more tunnels located on Belgrade bypass, a bridge on the Sava River and a large number of overbridges. Strazevica is one of the most complex structures on this highway section.
This tunnel is foreseen for road traffic. Tunnel has two tunnel tubes, left 745m long and right 115m long, both with 110m2 cross-section. Tunnel excavation was executed using New Austrian Tunneling Method. The existing tunnel tubes are connected by two pedestrian tunnels, 25m2 cross-sections, foreseen for evacuation in case of emergency. The works on the Rakovicki Stream flow control, in the zone of the tunnel exit, as well as the works on the reconstruction of the October 13th Street, at the entrance side were executed along with the tunnel works.
